Setting the new standard in security personnel

Code 9 Security has always taken great pride in its colleagues, and likeminded security professionals who make such a valuable contribution to our day to day lives. Imagine life without security personnel. Overstretched policing. Fear of crime. Increased antisocial behaviour. Violence in the night-time economy. Uncontrolled crowd behaviour. Unchallenged criminality. A defibrillator not been applied to a patient in time. A lost child parted from their parents. Chaos in crowded spaces.

Despite the huge impact the private security industry makes every day, when was the last time you stopped to think about the person behind the uniform? His or her experience, qualifications and the expectations put upon them - often with low pay, unappreciated and overlooked. Code 9 Security is on a mission to change this.

To address this issue, and to rebuild public trust and confidence in the private security industry, Code 9 Security has started a journey to reset the standard of security personnel. We attract, train and develop personnel from a variety of backgrounds, reward them with highly competitive terms, better pay than their policing and military counterparts, specialist training and most importantly, a change to make a positive impact and to protect what matters.

All of Code 9 Security’s colleagues specialise, complementing their core security training and functions with a relevant discipline that enhances their capabilities, delivers huge value to our clients and gives real purpose. Generally, colleagues specialise in disciplines like advanced first aid and pre-hospital care, often certificated through the Ofqual FREC qualification, or health and safety, certified through internationally recognised bodies like NEBOSH.
